PNGCORE welcomes Geo Scan Australia Pacific as new member

The Papua New Guinea Chamber of Resources & Energy (PNGCORE) is delighted to welcome Geo Scan Australia Pacific as a new member. Clinton French Geo Scan Australia Pacific General Manager – Pacific, briefly met with PNGCORE on the sidelines of the Geoscience, Exploration and Extraction (GEE) Conference 2024, currently underway in Port Moresby, to learn firsthand about the work that PNGCORE undertakes.

“Geo Scan Australia Pacific is at the forefront of promoting a sustainable future through satellite exploration, enabling governments and organisations to source and secure hydrocarbons, minerals, and water deposits with zero carbon footprint and no environmental impact. This innovative approach is not only more environmentally friendly but also significantly more cost-effective and time-efficient compared to traditional methods. As we look to further our involvement in PNG, we are extremely pleased to be a member of PNGCORE.”

In welcoming Geo Scan Australia Pacific, PNGCORE Chief Operating Officer Pansy Taueni-Sialis expressed excitement about the new partnership and its potential for mutual benefit.

“As the industry peak body for the mineral, petroleum, and energy sectors, PNGCORE is thrilled to have Geo Scan Australia Pacific join us as a new member. We eagerly anticipate collaborating to maximize the value of their membership, as Geo Scan Australia Pacific expands its services across PNG’s resources sector. Their membership will grant them direct access to key leaders within the industry and, more importantly, a powerful voice through the Chamber to address critical issues affecting the sector in PNG.”
